La Costa Construction (Constructora La Costa S.R.L.) is a Costa Rican owned and operated family business. The construction company is led by respected Costa Rica building contractor Johnny Moya. With the help of his wife and siblings, Johnny has put together a team to ensure the success of every project La Costa Construction takes on.
The company office is located in the community of Playa Hermosa, Osa, just 5km north of Uvita. Playa Hermosa in Osa is a small community where you can ask any resident about Johnny Moya and they can point you in his direction.
La Costa Construction company was officially formed in 2014. We take pride in all the projects we are involved in, but we take particular pleasure in assisting homeowners bring their ideas to life and make their dream of owning a home in Costa Rica a reality.

ABOUT COSTA RICAN BUILDING CONTRACTOR
Johnny Moya
Johnny Moya has worked in construction in the Costa Ballena region since 1996. In the year 2000 Johnny obtained his building contractor’s certification through Costa Rica’s National Learning Institute (INA). Prior to starting Constructora La Costa, Johnny worked as an independent contractor primarily between Uvita and Dominical. Having grown-up in the Uvita area and worked his entire life in the construction industry, Johnny’s experience and knowledge of how to build in Costa Rica, and particularly in the southern Pacific region, are second to none.
As a Costa Rica contractor, Johnny’s greatest attribute is his punctuality with homeowners and ability to meet deadlines that has stood out to past homeowners. As a builder, it is his versatility and attention to detail that has made him stand out as a building contractor.
Johnny enjoys the challenges of large, integral projects, particularly turn-key projects which he can see through and be responsible for from beginning to end.
WHERE WE WORK
The majority of our past projects have been located in the Costa Ballena region but we have managed and developed projects in Golfito, San Isidro, and as far north as the Guanacaste province.
